Whats the difference between information technology and information management?

Information Management "(Data Analysis) is "The manipulation, re-organization, analysis, graphing, charting, and presentation of data for specific management and decision-making purposes." [www.nalms.org]
IT is the combination of hardware, software and processes that an entity uses to collect information, while IM is the means by which that information is made understandable, organized and stored.
